With the explosion of cooking shows and competitions grabbing viewers’ attention, it’s no wonder that diners also make a captive audience for the show of creating meals. A self-contained fire-suppression system has cross-pattern nozzles that provide a continuous zone of protection no matter where the griddle goes. Two models are available: the 35-in.W x 24-in.D EVent 35E cooking station and the 48-in.W x 24-in.D teppan cooking table.
KEEPING TABS ON TEMPS
Because so much of foodservice involves heating or chilling foods to the proper temp, it’s handy that the Cook N Cool digital thermometer displays the internal temperature without the need to open an oven door. It tracks the cooling rate to ensure proper cool-down, as well. A large, easy-to read LCD readout shows timer countdown, actual temp and preset temp. An 80-dB alarm sounds once the desired temp and/or time is reached.
