Publisher’s Note: A Site to See

Randy Hano Headshot

News is happening daily, and so is FER. I could not be more excited to officially announce the launch of our completely redesigned website. At what nobody can argue is a critical time in the foodservice industry, FER is deepening our commitment to keeping you informed each and every day on what’s news, what’s new and trends you need to follow.

We recognize that as people’s work environments change, their appetite for more current information and analysis only grows. And it was with that in mind that this new generation of fermag.com was born.

So, what can you expect when you visit us online? First off, you’ll find an updated user experience that keeps you top of mind. It had to be mobile-optimized, so you have the same great experience on your phone or iPad as you do on your laptop or desktop.

Digital is the new face-to-face, and we are here to meet that challenge head on.

And we put a ton of thought into the wide-screen design and structure. We have literally thousands of relevant articles that are now easily found through our improved AI-powered search function and related content features. We’ve also organized the website based on popular news and information topics for our audience and compiled helpful “Buying Guides” to help you find exactly what you need as you make your buying decision, even if you are not 100% sure exactly what that is as you start your search.

We recognize that in these unprecedented times, digital is the new face-to-face, and we are here to meet that challenge head on, not with a simple facelift to make our site look a little more pretty but with a top to bottom overhaul with only you, our readers, in mind. I hope you enjoy it and, as always, please let me know what you think.

Stay safe, stay healthy and see you online!
