Three Manufacturers’ Reps Announce New Lines

Zink Foodservice has expanded into robotics by adding Chowbotics to the foodservice manufacturers it represents.

“The addition of Chowbotics to our portfolio enables Zink to provide a robotic solution that addresses key areas of concern for operators… Food Safety and Labor,” said vice president  Tim Zink in a statement. “We believe that technology will continue to be an integral part of the Foodservice industry and we are proud to add Sally the Robot to our growing assortment of automation solutions.”

Zink, based in Columbus, Ohio, adds Chowbotics to its portfolio in Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania.

Culinary Equipment Group has expanded its foodservice equipment offering, inking a deal to represent DoughXPress in the Chicago market.

DoughXpress is best known presses for pizza dough, tortilla dough and meat. The company also has a full complement of bakery equipment. “DoughXPress is a perfect fit as we pursue the fast-growing pizza segment,“ explained Howard Cohen, Culinary Equipment Group partner. Daniel Raio, president of DoughXpress, said, “We are excited to have Culinary Equipment Group as a partner with our company.”

Culinary Equipment Group is a Chicago-based foodservice equipment manufacturers’ rep firm serving Northern/Central Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weymouth, Mass.-based Wyllie Marketing is now representing seven Middleby brands: Star, Wells, Lang, Toastmaster, APW/Wyott, Bakers Pride and Holman. The territory covers Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
