Krispy Kreme Crosses The Andes

Two dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts locations will be sprinkled around Peru during the next five years under a new development agreement with Agape Coral. The Winston-Salem, N.C., chain debuted in South America in 2013, when it opened the first of a planned 25 units in Colombia. The chain also is hoping to establish its presence in the developing markets of Cambodia, Guatemala, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Krispy Kreme has more than 1,000 locations in 24 countries.
