Boelter Consolidates Direct South, Earns Vendor Honors

More than a year after The Boelter Cos. acquired the Gainesville, Ga., dealer, Boelter Direct South has officially changed its name to simply Boelter. The change was announced to employees and suppliers by the companies’ presidents, Nick Adams and Eric Boelter.

The two companies have worked closely together under the Boelter umbrella since the April 2015 acquisition, and have fully integrated design, equipment, supplies and installation services. Citisco, Restaurant and Kitchen Supply, and Restaurant and Kitchen Service will continue to operate with their existing names under the Boelter umbrella.

Boelter also is celebrating its 2016 Vendor of the Year award from Topper’s Pizza. The award was presented in June, during Topper’s 25th anniversary celebration in Orlando, Fla., to honor Boelter for long-term and value-added service. Boelter has been providing Topper’s with equipment and supplies for new store openings and day-to-day operations since 2009. During that time, the Whitewater, Wis., chain has opened more than 30 new stores and expanded into more than 13 states.
