Finnish Burger Chain Plants Flag In Germany

FriendsBrgrs

Friends & Brgrs will expand to Germany in September when it opens its sixth restaurant inside the Europa Passage mall in central Hamburg. The Food Sky food court at Europa Passage will feature more than 20 restaurants when it opens. Friends & Brgrs, which defines itself as “fresh casual,” was founded in 2014 by six friends, and is currently owned by approximately 560 shareholders. Ingredients are sourced locally, and all restaurants have their own bakeries, and the meat used in the burgers is ground in-house. The chain currently operates five restaurants in Finland and Denmark, and is actively searching for locations in major European cities.
