Heritage Realigns Canadian Leadership Team

In what it calls a critical step in leveraging the growth opportunities for parts and service on a national level, Heritage Foodservice Group has realigned its Canadian leadership team to create an independent focus on its two business units: 100% Genuine OEM Parts Distribution and Commercial Kitchen Service.

Effective immediately, Rick Blum is President of Heritage Parts Canada. He leads a dedicated team focused exclusively on furthering the parts business as a single commercial unit leveraging the company’s distribution and customer service footprint across the country.

Ken Beasley assumes the role of President of Heritage Service Group. While Heritage Service Canada will continue to run under the legacy brands of R.G. Henderson, Choquette CKS and Key Food at the local level, the business is now well positioned to implement its service strategies across Canada. Each service brand has been seamlessly interconnected through management structure and backend ERP to operate nationally as one company.

“Each of these businesses, with Rick and Ken at the helm, remain first-class operations focused on exceptional service delivery and industry-leading post-warranty customer retention rates in their respective markets,” says John McDonough, President and CEO of Heritage Foodservice Group.

Jonathan Dubeau, President of Choquette CKS, will work with Beasley to align the Quebec market with the national efforts. Doug Scott, V.P.-Operations at Key Food Equipment; Ron Boyce, V.P.-R.G. Henderson; and Charlie Rodriguez, V.P.-U.S. Service Operations will continue in their roles and report to Beasley.

Heritage Foodservice Canada, a division of Heritage Foodservice Group, began with the acquisition of R.G. Henderson in February 2013, followed by the acquisitions of Key Food Equipment Services in April 2014 and Choquette CKS in June 2015.
