Equipex has appointed Denver-based Ignite Foodservice Solutions as its exclusive sales and marketing representatives in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and El Paso, Texas. Equipex, headquartered in Providence, R.I., manufactures countertop cooking equipment, warming displays and patented countertop ventless hood systems.

NAFEM has added Dawn Parker in the newly created position of V.P.-Programs & Partnerships. She spearheads a broad range of partnerships, from information/best practice/research programs to the association’s growing relationships with the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute, The Culinary Institute of America, and community colleges across the country.

Chicago-based Pinstripes Inc. has named Rob Hense to the role of Chief Development Officer. Hense, who served most recently as senior v.p.-development of Starwood Retail Partners, will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the eight-unit chain’s real estate selection, design and construction, and domestic and international expansion. Pinstripes offers Italian and American menus as well as bowling and bocce, in Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, and Washington, D.C., and has signed deals to open in Fort Worth, Houston and Dallas, as well asin Cleveland and San Mateo, Calif.
