ISO 9001:2015 Certification For Prince Castle, Welbilt

Two major equipment manufacturers have received ISO 9001:15 certification for their quality-management systems.

Prince Castle attained its ISO 9001:2015 certification for design, manufacture and servicing of food preparation equipment. Welbilt has passed ISO 9001:15 certification for the design and manufacture of its Cleveland-branded commercial stainless steel kettles, tilt skillets and steamers.

The ISO 9001:2015 is an international, complex and risk-based standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Prince Castle, a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, is based in Carol Stream, Ill., and operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in Plymouth, Minn., and Shanghai, China.

Welbilt, headquartered in Florida’s Tampa Bay area, operates 17 manufacturing facilities throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. In addition to Cleveland, its brands include Convotherm, Delfield, fitkitchenSM, Frymaster, Garland, Kolpak, Lincoln, Manitowoc Ice, Merco, Merrychef and Multiplex.
