New NAFEM Officers Assume Board Roles

It’s the changing of the guard at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers.

Joe Carlson, president of Lakeside Mfg., has assumed NAFEM’s presidency, succeeding Kevin Fink, president of Master-Bilt and Nor-Lake, who becomes an ex-officio member of the board.

Working with Carlson as NAFEM officers are Robert Connelly, president/CEO of Henny Penny Corp., and Rich Packer, secretary/treasurer of American Metalcraft, who now serve as president-elect and secretary/treasurer, respectively.

In addition, NAFEM has announced that individuals were re-elected to three-year terms on its board of directors: Deron Lichte, president and chairman/COO of FWE-Food Warming Equipment; Danielle McMiller, v.p.-foodservice sales and marketing at Structural Concepts Corp.; and Steve Spittle, v.p.-sales and marketing of Pitco.

Newly elected to the board for a three-year term was David Rolston, president/CEO of Hatco.  Greg Baggott, v.p.-operations at Cres Cor, was appointed to fill the year remaining in Packer’s term as a director on the NAFEM board.

Other board members include Teri Brewer, v.p./sales and marketing manager at Thermo-Kool; Glenn Bullock, president/CEO of Antunes; Steve Dowling, v.p. of SaniServ; Kurt Eickmeyer, president of Wood Stone Corp.; Eva-Marie Fox, v.p. of marketing at T&S Brass; and Debra Hanson, v,p.-sales at Vulcan Food Equipment Group;  and Cathy O’Shia, v.p.-foodservice sales at New Age Industrial Corp.

Michael Whiteley, v.p. sales and marketing at Hatco, retired from the board after 14 years of service. All board members and officeholder are CFSPs.
