EquipHotel Preps For A Grand Entrance

Come November, EquipHotel Paris ’18 will focus on the five key concepts of restaurant, design, well-being, technology and service—all displayed by its nearly 1,600 exhibitors—but this year, those who come to the show will be greeted by a brand-new design trend and sensory experience at every entrance.

This year, all EquipHotel reception areas will be designed by Les Architecteurs, a consortium of architects and designers who created the layout of the show’s entrance areas using exhibitors’ products to create a particular hotel or restaurant atmosphere. Pavilion 3, for example, will feature Casa de Luz bar/lounge/restaurant, created to transport visitors on a voyage around Portuguese and French cuisine, bringing to life a sunny terrace, a shady patio and a friendly casa.

The second edition of STUDIO18 will portray cutting-edge trends and innovation in hotels. It includes building a 3,000 m² pop-up hotel at the heart of the show, which will showcase the living spaces of tomorrow. The main theme will lead visitors from one room to the next, each designed and developed by renowned architects and presented in an inspirational setting.

The exhibition also will play host to programs, conferences and educational capsules as well as competitions.

EquipHotel is November 11-15 at Paris expo Porte de Versailles.
