Personnel Appointments

Chris Jones, most recently managing director of Lincat/Middleby, has taken on an expanded role in the U.K. He now helms IMC and Britannia as Group Managing Director. Lincat’s operations are based in Lincolnshire, while IMC’s manufacturing hub is in Wrexham, Wales.

 

Mark Cooke is Meiko UK’s new Group Account Manager. He is working alongside Group Account Director Simon Callus; both will report to Managing Director Paul Anderson. Cooke joins Meiko from refrigeration brand Liebherr, where he served as commercial sales manager. Prior to that he worked for Gram, which is part of Hoshizaki.

 

T&S Brass and Bronze Works has hired Ulf Bauer as Sales Manager for Europe. Bauer brings more than two decades of global foodservice experience to the role, where he is responsible for supporting the Travelers Rest, S.C., company’s customers and partners and developing new markets throughout Europe and Russia. He’s based in Germany. Bauer, who is ServSafe certified, worked for McDonald’s Deutschland for several years; most recently, he was a key accounts manager for Prince Castle.

 

Glenn Roberts has been appointed Sales Director at Winterhalter UK, as part of a reshuffle at the British-based arm of the German warewashing equipment maker. Roberts joins Winterhalter from Nisbets, the U.K.’s largest E&S distributor, which he joined in January as head of Polar Refrigeration. His resume includes posts at some of Britain’s biggest foodservice equipment distributors and manufacturers, including Bunzl, Gram UK and Hoshizaki. Roberts also serves as the chair of the Catering Equipment Suppliers’ Association. His arrival at Winterhalter comes as its current sales director, Andy Salter, is promoted to a new role, as managing director of Classeq Glass & Dishwasher Systems.
