Smart Care Rolls Out Enhanced Sales Staff

Smart Care Equipment Solutions has expanded its sales organization, promoting eight employees and adding three more to new positions. The changes were announced by Rick Allen, v.p.-sales, at the service company formerly owned by Ecolab.

Bill Schmelzer has been promoted to Customer Experience Manager. A seven-year company veteran, he most recently was national account manager-Midwest.

There are three new AVP National Accounts: Dana Estes, who had been serving as corporate account manager since 2016; Stacy Lewis, an 11-year Smart Care employee; and Elizabeth Johnston-Cook, who joins Smart Care to oversee the Midwest

The healthcare and foodservice segments will be targeted by Smart Care’s newly created Business Development Manager teams.

Cheryl Kennedy, whose experience includes 15 years in the commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance industry, is promoted to AVP Business Development – Foodservice. Cheryl Barnaba and Jordan Cohen are elevated to Business Development Managers -Foodservice.

Alvin “AJ” Franklin, who started at Smart Care nine years ago as a service technician in San Diego, is promoted to AVP Business Development – Healthcare. The post of Business Development Manager -Healthcare will be filled by Francis Lupianez, formerly sales development manager for Boston, and Scott Komen, who joins Smart Care to focus on the Florida market.

Smart Care also has added Brian Nolan as District Sales Representative for the NY/NJ market.
