FEDA is setting a full table for next month’s 2019 Annual Convention in Phoenix at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The April 3-6 event is serving up speakers from every segment of the E&S channel.

Things will kick off with an operator’s take on the business when Steve Chucri, President/CEO of the Arizona Restaurant Association, presents “An Operator’s View of Our Evolving Marketplace and Distribution Channel.”

Thursday also features CEO panels. The first panel—moderated by Kerri Llewellyn, TriMark-Orange County, and featuring Eric Boelter, The Boelter Cos.; Gene Clark, Clark Foodservice Equipment; and Steve Maahs, Alto-Shaam—looks at the industry’s future and its toughest challenges and potential solutions ahead. A follow-up panel boasting distribution channels CEOs and legislative professionals examines the imperative for becoming involved in advocating for pro-distributor public policies.

And what’s an allied industry group meeting without a look at how technology is changing the E&S business? Everything from automation to data collection to pick orders to serial number caching is on the table for a discussion on how technology affects the way channel partners manage and use data, and how working cooperatively can improve the development and use of technology. Matt Starr of Boston Showcase Co. will moderate a panel including Dave Groff, Webstaurantstore.com; Mark Haidet, AutoQuotes; and Steve Snower, Parts Town.

The complete lineup of events, including social and sporting activities, is available on the FEDA Annual Conference app, available for Apple and Android devices.
