Structural Concepts, a Muskegon, Mich.-based manufacturer of temperature-controlled food and beverage display cases, has named Brad Gates its CEO and president. He will replace Dave Geerts, who will retire after 25 years as the company’s CEO and become a member of the board of directors.

Gates is a business executive with more than 30 years of experience. “As consumer demand for healthier and fresher prepared and ready-to-go foods continues to escalate, we’re positioned to deliver refrigeration solutions that increase customer sales while decreasing their operating expenses,” Gates said in a statement announcing the leadership change.

Prior to joining Structural Concepts, Gates was CEO at Pure Safety Group and at the Nautic Global Group.
