FEDA Names 22 UID Scholarship Recipients

The FEDA Education Foundation has awarded 22 scholarships to help employees of member companies attend the University of Innovative Distribution next spring in Indianapolis.The 22 scholarships were awarded to:

  • David Bement, vice president of sales, Tundra

  • Ashleigh Bizzell, category manager, Central Restaurant Products
  • Richard Castillo, equipment specialist, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply
  • David Cortez, senior sales associate, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply
  • Simon Foote, regional account manager, The Wasserstrom Company
  • Tia Hayes, purchasing manager, Best Restaurant Equipment & Design
  • Brennan Kaufman, regional account manager, The Wasserstrom Company
  • Otavia Kennedy, inventory specialist, Best Restaurant Equipment & Design
  • Roland Loney, manager, contract services-project management, TriMark SS Kemp
  • Jay Mandavia, director of finance, TriMark USA
  • Ellie Maxwell, training coordinator, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply

The scholarships are designed to help middle-management professionals learn new strategies for organizational initiatives and to further their personal growth. The four-day program taking place March, 8-11, 2020 covers  territory sales, marketing, negotiation skills, inventory management, human resources, leadership, and information technologies.
