Antunes, a manufacturer of custom foodservice equipment, automation and water treatment, has promoted Melissa Neckopulos to vice president of marketing and water and Daniel Schmidt to managing director of international business.

Neckopulos joined the company in 2019 as the general manager of water. During her tenure, she has expanded Antunes’ water product offerings, increased customer reach, strengthened the partnership with Splash and released AntunesWater.com, according to the company.

While building on her role in water, she now also leads Antunes’ marketing.

“For the last three years, we have observed Melissa’s drive and passion for our water filtration product line expansion and the overall growth of this particular business unit. Today, in Melissa’s newly created expanded role, we are excited to see to what levels she will take the marketing department to assist in driving our total corporate business forward,” says Tom Krisch, executive vice president of sales, in a press release.

Schmidt, Antunes’ previous vice president of marketing and product management, joined the company in 2010 and has served in roles in sales, supply chain and water. While continuing to lead Antunes’ product management team, he now will focus on growing the organization’s international business.

“Antunes has a large and growing global business. With Daniel’s experience and focus on the international markets, we will accelerate our growth in target markets. We are very excited by his appointment and the positive impact he will have on our customers outside of the United States,” says Dan Hartlein, president, in a press release.

Antunes’ headquarters and manufacturing plant are in Carol Stream, Ill., with additional international manufacturing locations in Suzhou, China, and Chennai, India.
