Caspers Service Co. is upgrading its Florida warehouse to improve working conditions as summer heat nears.

As most warehouses don’t have air conditioning, the service company is installing extra-large industrial fans to improve extreme temperatures by circulating air throughout the facility.

“There are many tasks involved in operating a warehouse. These include loading and off-loading trucks, as well as staging heavy equipment for delivery or storage. Because of these hard-working conditions, we want to make our employees as comfortable as possible,” says Walden Wagner, coordinator of Caspers Service Co., in a press release.

The company expects the fans to improve long-term inventory in the warehouse by cutting down on hot, humid conditions that can damage products and equipment, reduce potential health problems for employees and increase productivity.

The warehouse also has tinted windows to block UV rays and reduce heat.
