Creation of Innovation Hub, More Underway at Halton’s Kentucky Facility

Halton, a manufacturer of CKV and air distribution systems, is building something new—this time for its own use.

Today, May 24, the manufacturer announced the expansion of its Scottsville, Ky. manufacturing facility to create space for a “dedicated air movement Innovation Hub” for the maker’s air-moving product line. The new hub will join 10 others around the globe dedicated to advanced research in indoor environments.

The company also will add additional manufacturing space to allow for new product lines to support the overall growth of the business.

The company will invest $7.4 million and create 60 new full-time jobs as it adds 50,000 square feet to the facility. Construction is expected to wrap up in the first half of 2024.

“Kentucky has been a great home for our U.S. operations for more than 30 years,” says Mika Halttunen, chairman and owner of Halton Group. “We are excited to continue growing our team and facilities including setting up a new Innovation Hub and laboratory. This will enable us to provide the highest quality innovative air-handling products for the domestic U.S. commercial kitchen ventilation market and also to export those to rest of the Americas, Middle East and Asia Pacific.”
