Founding FER Executive Promoted To Associate Publisher
Richard Chrampanis, vice president of sales, also now serves as FER Media's associate publisher.
Foodservice Equipment Reports has promoted one of its founders, Richard Chrampanis, vice president of sales, to the additional role of associate publisher.
“Both roles are about getting to know my customers, finding out their needs, building relationships and seeing how we, as a media company, can help them.”
Chrampanis has been in the industry for 35 years and has extensive experience in publishing, sales and operations. In 1996, after working in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry for nearly a decade, he helped start FER as a way to give multiunit operators, who were becoming more prominent decision-makers for equipment purchasing, a magazine geared toward them.
Since then, he has held the role of vice president of sales for FER Media while helping manage other facets of the company. As associate publisher, he will now also support FER President and Publisher Randy Hano, who recently took on the additional role of CEO for Specifi U.S., FER’s sister company.
“I’m looking forward to taking things to the next level. I love the industry, and I hope that being moved up is a reflection of that love,” says Chrampanis. “Both roles are about getting to know my customers, finding out their needs, building relationships and seeing how we, as a media company, can help them.”
