Shake Shack to Launch Search for New CFO

Shake Shack President and CFO Tara Comonte will be pursuing a career opportunity outside of the restaurant industry come May 10.

Comonte has been with Shake Shack since 2017 and will remain with the company through May 7, helping close out its Q1 earnings and more.

A search firm will be hired to aid in the search for a new CFO, and the job’s duties will be split among leaders on the Shake Shack team until a new candidate is selected.

Meanwhile, on May 10, Comonte will become Chief Executive Officer of TMRW Life Sciences, creator of an automated cell management platform for in vitro fertilization. Comonte was a founding member of the company’s board of directors.
