Avanti Restaurant Solutions has hired Christopher Thompson as a designer, adding to its design-build team.
Thompson earned a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu before becoming a design consultant in Reno, Nev., for eight years, two of which he operated under his own company, Atlas Kitchen Concepts.
The designer’s resume includes projects with facilities like Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa, Boomtown Casino Hotel, Grand Sierra Resort, Rail City and Gold Dust West. He also was an integral partner in the renovation of Bowl Incline, which consisted of a fast-food outlet and several bars, in Incline Village, Nev., according to Avanti.
Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a commercial kitchen design firm, serves restaurants, entertainment and hotel/hospitality chains, retail and other foodservice facilities.
