Milwaukee-based Hatco Corp. has acquired American Range, a manufacturer of commercial and residential cooking appliances.

American Range has locations in Pacoima, Calif., and Las Vegas and has been in business for over 40 years. The company’s products include ranges, broilers, ovens, fryers, griddles, hot plates and salamanders.

The acquisition broadens Hatco’s product offerings and expands its opportunities to service customers, according to Hatco President Lorne Deacon in a press release. “We look forward to building on the success of this American-made brand,” says Deacon.

“Having built American Range with the help of my father, Mourad H. Demirjian, from the ground up, the company is more than just a business to me,” says American Range Founder and CEO Shane Demirjian in a press release. “So, when I decided to look for a partner to take it to the next stage, it was important to me that the employees and customers of American Range were left in good hands.”

Founded in 1950, Hatco manufactures warming, toasting, holding, cooking, sanitizing and cooling equipment for the foodservice industry.
