Deacon’s promotion serves as part of a long-term succession plan orchestrated by Hatco’s board of directors, according to a press release.

Deacon joined Hatco in 2018 as director of global marketing and product development. He moved up to vice president of global marketing in 2019 before becoming executive vice president, his most recent role, in 2021. His first position in the foodservice industry was in 2013 as an executive at Middleby, specifically for Star Holdings.
