Peachtree, Ga.-based Hoshizaki America has appointed Daryl Erbs to the newly created position of vice president of innovation and hired Scott Meyer as vice president of sales over the U.S. and Canada.
Erbs brings industry experience, technical expertise and understanding of industrial design to the role, says Chris Karssiens, president of Hoshizaki America and the Americas region, in a press release. Before joining Hoshizaki, Erbs spent over 18 years with Welbilt, most recently serving as vice president of technology, according to LinkedIn. He also served in engineering positions with Carrier and Fedders Corp.
Meyer has spent over 16 years in the foodservice industry and 20 years collectively in sales. “Scott’s track record of revenue growth, relationship development, innovation, process improvement and career advancement will serve us well as we continue to challenge ourselves for significant growth and improved organizational efficiencies,” says Allan Dziwoki, senior vice president of sales and marketing, in a press release.
Hoshizaki designs and manufactures products for the foodservice industry, including ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, prep tables, display cases and dispensers.
