Tech24 Taps New VP of Corporate Development
Blake Kuhlenschmidt will assist the company as it aims to continue to grow through acquisition.
Tech24, a provider of foodservice equipment repair and maintenance, has hired Blake Kuhlenschmidt as vice president of corporate development as it looks to expand service capabilities and geographic reach through acquisition.
In this role, Kuhlenschmidt will help Tech24—which continues to acquire complementary companies in quick succession—identify, evaluate, execute and integrate new acquisition opportunities and assist with growth initiatives.
Kuhlenschmidt has over 15 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, finance and private equity. He previously served as director of corporate development for CoolSys, a refrigeration, HVAC and energy management solutions provider. He held similar corporate development roles for several private equity-owned service companies, including Hoffman Southwest and Brace Industrial Group.
“We are very pleased to welcome Blake Kuhlenschmidt to the Tech24 family,” says Tech24 CEO Dan Rodstrom in a press release. “His strong understanding of service-based companies and his expertise in developing deep relationships with people across the industry will serve our organization in this period of phenomenal growth and forward motion.”
HCI Equity Partners-backed announced last week it acquired New York-based Tek Express, marking its third acquisition in three weeks. Tech24 has acquired 14 companies to date.
