The 116-store frozen dessert brand Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has appointed several executives as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

Michael Keller has become CEO and president. Jeremy Litwack, founder of Jeremiah’s, will remain involved in the business, serving as brand ambassador, leaving Keller to oversee moving the brand, business and franchise system forward. Keller has held numerous industry leadership roles, including CEO/president of Pearson Candy Co., chief marketing officer of International Dairy Queen, vice president of marketing for Jamba Juice and senior vice president of marketing for Baskin Robbins USA, among others.

Erin Buono joins Jeremiah’s as its first-ever director of research and development, bringing over a decade of experience in innovation and product design, formerly for Sonic Drive-In and Virtual Dining Concepts.

Additionally, Adam Hing, formerly of Ruth’s Chris, Bloomin’ Brands, Darden Restaurants and other chains, has been brought on as supply chain director, while Julianna Voyles, formerly operations director at Jeremiah’s, has been promoted to the role of senior director of franchise operations.

Based in Orlando, Fla., Jeremiah’s opened a record number of stores in 2022—a total of 38—and has even more in store for 2023.
