The Atlanta-based quick-service restaurant Krystal has appointed industry veteran Manny Rodriguez as its new vice president of operations.
Rodriguez has spent more than 20 years working with global restaurant brands. Most recently, he served as vice president of operations and training at Focus Brands Int’l. There, he launched the Customer Experience Center of Excellence and was responsible for providing virtual support, operational reviews and training to 1,700 locations in 60 countries.
He also previously worked as senior global director of operations systems and performance at Church’s Chicken and on the franchisee side for Dunkin’ Brands. He started his career with Burger King as a district manager in New Jersey.
In his new role with Krystal, he will lead operations with a focus on company-owned restaurants.
“He’s proven throughout his robust career in the restaurant industry that he can create and implement the systems and processes needed to carry a company toward success while holding steadfast to operational excellence and focus on his team members. His talents and expertise will play a vital role for Krystal as we step into the future of the brand and continue to provide quality food and service for our guests,” says Thomas Stager, president of Krystal, in a press release.
Krystal currently has 300 locations in 10 states.
